Simply Rye is an independent, family-run gift shop in the centre of Rye, East Sussex – a place where cobbled streets and old-world charm sita alongside many beautiful independent shops and restaurants. Visit our shop and you’ll find a wide range of gifts (whether for yourself or others!) including homewares, coastal souvenirs, clothing, fragrance, cards and jewellery.

Every product we stock has been personally chosen by us with love, care, and purpose. We believe that a great gift should make you smile the moment you see it - so if it’s something we’d be thrilled to give (or receive!) ourselves, it earns a special place on our shelves. Our aim has always been to make Simply Rye feel like the kind of shop you wander into and instantly want to stay a little longer.

As well as the products that we handpick from suppliers all over the country, we make a small selection of handmade gifts using “treasures” found along our local beaches. We also sell bespoke deckchairs and refurbished director’s chairs in a range of striking stripy fabrics for you to bring a touch of seaside nostalgia into any home or garden.
